Digital Realty Advances Indonesia's Digital Infrastructure with ServiceFabric and Tier IV Reliability
Digital Realty expects to launch its next-generation interconnection solution, ServiceFabric, at its CGK10 and CGK11 data centers in Indonesia during the second half of 2026
SINGAPORE, April 22, 2026 - Digital Realty (NYSE: DLR), the world’s largest cloud- and carrier-neutral data center platform colocation, expects to launch its next-generation interconnection solution, ServiceFabric, in Indonesia in the second half of 2026.
The expected launch will be by Digital Realty Bersama, Digital Realty's 50/50 joint venture in Indonesia with Bersama Digital Infrastructure Asia (BDIA). Digital Realty’s ServiceFabric — our service orchestration platform that enables seamless connectivity, data exchange, and workload deployment across the global ecosystem — will be deployed at the CGK10 and CGK11 data centers, empowering customers to deploy faster, scale with confidence, and unlock the full potential of their data.
Digital Realty Bersama also serves as a key interconnection hub. The presence of the IIX-JK2 node by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) within the CGK11 facility enables ultra-low latency for domestic traffic, reinforcing its role as a central point of interconnection for businesses across the country.
Designed with high levels of redundancy and fault tolerance aligned with Tier IV principles, the highest level of data center classification ensuring 99.995% uptime with fully redundant systems and fault tolerance, our operations in Indonesia are designed to deliver high levels of security, resilience, and operational reliability.
Powering Indonesia’s Digital Economy
Indonesia is home to the largest digital economy in Southeast Asia, projected to exceed approximately USD 130 billion by 2026, driven by strong growth in internet usage, digital services, and enterprise transformation. This momentum is driving increasing demand for scalable, resilient, and globally connected digital infrastructure.
ServiceFabric is designed to unify cloud service providers, networks, and IT infrastructure into a single platform through PlatformDIGITAL®. By reducing geographical and technical barriers to interconnection, it enables more agile and secure data exchange between local and global environments, supporting artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.
Andha Yudha Permana, Director of Business & Commercial at Digital Realty Bersama, said: "We are excited to bring our ServiceFabric platform to Indonesia. This open platform fosters a collaborative and well-connected ecosystem that is critical for enabling artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.”
“With ServiceFabric, customers can manage their connectivity independently, link local infrastructure to international hubs in minutes, and access the interconnection flexibility needed to accelerate their digital transformation, all without compromising the security standards we have established.”
Connecting Indonesia to a Global Digital Ecosystem
As digital adoption continues to accelerate, enterprises are increasingly looking to connect local infrastructure with global platforms to support more advanced workloads, including AI and high-performance computing. These workloads demand robust infrastructure capabilities, including advanced liquid cooling and high-density colocation, to meet their power and performance requirements.
ServiceFabric will enable connectivity, data exchange, and workload deployment through PlatformDIGITAL, allowing businesses to link local infrastructure to international hubs.
Serene Nah, Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific, Digital Realty, said: “Indonesia is a key market for us in Asia Pacific, given the pace of digital growth and the increasing demand for connected infrastructure. Since the formation of our joint venture in 2025, our focus has been on bringing together our global platform with strong local capabilities to support customers here.”
“As AI workloads continue to scale, the need to connect data, infrastructure and ecosystems becomes more important. The upcoming launch of ServiceFabric will help customers in Indonesia link their infrastructure to regional and global platforms more easily, and support the next phase of digital growth across the market,” she concluded.
