California Internet Gateway Facility, to provide the digital infrastructure
for Kidz Online's peer-to-peer technology training and Internet-based services
for the educational community.
Kidz Online is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to preparing
students and teachers to live and work with the new technologies that pervade
their lives. This is accomplished through innovative online educational
experiences distributed using advanced digital technologies. The Kidz Online
Web site offers nearly 1,000 free learning resources and draws approximately
13 million hits from more than 340,000 visitors per month.
